M.A. Adult Education & Lifelong Learning
Did you grow up in a home where alcohol was abused?
Are you a member of a 12 Step Program? (Al-Anon, AA, Coda, ACA, NA etc.)
I am looking for people who are willing to share their experiences of growing up in alcoholic homes and, if available, their experiences in 12-step meetings.
I would like to find out
On average, 5-7 people are affected by someone else's drinking. By now it is common knowledge that growing up with alcoholism creates many challenges for children and adult children alike, including mental and physical health problems and own addictive behaviours.
We all have the capacity to learn all our lives. Lifelong Learning is an important factor in today's world, especially for the labour market. One of the key functions of Adult Education is the provision of training for the job market, but it must not be reduced to it.
One aim of Adult Education should be to enable and empower people, to give them a choice to live as freely, joyfully and autonomously as they see fit, no matter what their age, gender, origin, colour of skin, hair-do, shoe-size or any other form of labelling we can come up with.
If you are interested in taking part in this project, please contact me through the contact page and I will let you know more.
Thank you very much and have a good day!
Be true to yourself. Love what you do. Do what you love. Today.
